The Dan Nichols Songleading Workshop

We are excited to offer Jewish teens a FREE Songleading Workshop with Dan Nichols.

Join Dan Nichols for this awesome opportunity to receive hands-on learning with other Jewish teen songleaders. After this workshop, you will return to your synagogue with more experience, knowledge, and connections.

Enjoy a FREE pizza dinner and extra one-on-one time with Dan and your Jewish peers. Dinner is 6:00pm-6:30pm. The songleading workshop is 6:30pm-9:00pm.

Learn how to:
- Effectively teach a Jewish song
- Work collaboratively in a team (songleading team, Religious School staff, NFTY region, etc.)
- Songlead at a Worship Service, Religious School, Youth Group Event
- Teach early childhood music
- Plan for a service or song session
- Sing and play new Jewish melodies that are effective for groups of all ages

This event is FREE due to the generosity from The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati, Valley Temple, and NFTY Ohio Valley.

 This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.

  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. 

Teens and families are responsible for transportation to and from this event. We will start promptly at 6pm and end promptly at 9pm. It is imperative to be on time.

Bring your instruments, song-book resources, notated Shireinus (if you have them), and your motivated self!
