NFTY-OV Winter Kallah is a weekend of learning, growing, laughing, and building meaningful relationships with other Reform Jewish teens. Whether it's your first event or fifteenth, we welcome you to join our community at Winter Kallah.
Imagine spending an incredible weekend enjoying the company of your new old friends from near and far. You are discussing topics during programs while sharing and comparing ideas. You are enjoying being Jewish with people much like you. You are making new friends, having fun, and socializing. But why just imagine? Come join NFTY-OV & HUC-JIR for a phenomenal weekend! We are excited to welcome new teens and veteran teens alike. The entire weekend of programs, activities, prayer, and fun is planned by teens in collaboration with HUC, for teens. This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.
- Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.
- HUC-JIR has limited dorm space. Priority will be given to seniors and upperclassmen (if space is available). Home hospitality will be offered to the remaining participants not staying in HUC-JIR dorms.
- Meals are included in the cost of the event.

NFTY-OV participants:Travel is arranged by your local congregation/temple youth group advisor. Please be in touch with them directly to determine your travel or if you have any travel related questions.
Every participant must travel to/from the event with an adult over the age of 21 (advisor, parent/guardian), including to and from the bus stop. No participants may drive themselves to, from, or during the event. This is NFTY policy to ensure the safety and well-being of our teens.
By Car: If you are being dropped off/picked up by an adult, please plan to be dropped at 5:00 on Friday, January 8, and picked up at 11:00am on Sunday, January 10. Please be on time.
Non NFTY-OV participants flying to/from event:If you are flying to NFTY-OV Winter Kallah from outside the NFTY-OV Region, note that HUC-JIR has travel parameters and will oversee flight parameters, transportation arrangements, and provide shuttle pick-up and drop-off between the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport and the campus of HUC-JIR in Cincinnati. HUC-JIR also has travel subsidies to offer participants coming from outside of NFTY-OV. Upon completing this registration, please email email@example.com to request more detailed information regarding travel.

Further information will be sent 1 week before the event that will include important information regarding the event as well as a complete packing list.

Check local weather to determine proper attire. Casual, comfortable clothes for the weekend Warmer clothes (jacket, hoodie, sweats) Friday Night Shabbat attire (dressy casual) Sleeping bag (or sheets and a blanket) and pillow Towel and Toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush/paste, hairbrush, etc.) Medication (you are responsible for your own medication) Money for Shuk (OV store) so you can buy some swag Flashlight Water bottle
Please do not bring anything valuable as NFTY is not responsible for any personal belongings.
If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:
Through December 17, 2015 – 90% Through December 24, 2015 – 75% Through December 31, 2015 – 50% After December 31, 2015 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after December 31, 2015 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.
All cancellation must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
