We are thrilled to share that we are still hosting Spring Kallah virtually this year! There will still be the magic of NFTY, with Shabbat, music, meals together, elections, laughter, and great friends. We are excited for all of the possibilities that our first-ever NFTY OV Spring Kallah has instore for us all!

Event Schedule

You are welcome to come to as many virtual programs or as few as you want. Choose your own adventure! You MUST register by Friday, April 3rd at 6:00 pm Eastern to be able to vote at Regional Board Elections.

Friday, April 3:
7:30 PM - Shabbat Dinner & Mixers
8:00 PM - Shabbat Services & Siyyum

Saturday, April 4:
1:00 PM - Elections*
4:00 PM - Program Breakouts
7:00 PM - Announce 2020-2021 Regional Board, Havdallah, Installations, & Siyyum

*A Note About Elections:
Join with us to decide the future of our region! Hear what candidates have to say, talk with your peers about what your priorities for the region are, and help select the next NFTY-OV Regional Board! Registration is required by 6:00 PM on April 3!

All participants who have attended a NFTY event in the past year or are active in their Temple Youth Group are eligible to register to vote and participate in elections. In order to be able to vote, you must watch the speeches (posted online March 30) and join the elections at 1pm to listen to the Question & Answer session and caucus.

Q: Who is eligible to attend NFTY OV Virtual Spring Kallah?
A: All Jewish 8th-12th in the NFTY Ohio Valley area.

Q: How much is NFTY OV Virtual Spring Kallah?
A: It is FREE!

Q: What platform will we be using to come together virtually?
A: We will be using Zoom. For the safety and security of our community ALL participantes are required to register with their real first and last name and will be screened in a virtual waiting room prior to being admitted into programs. You will receive specific links to join upon registration.

Q: I am a senior. What special senior activities will there still be for me?
A: We will still have a senior slideshow, virtual milk bottles, and a senior yearbook (which will include a chance to share your senior circle speeches)

Q: Is there a virtual "packing" list?
A: Snacks, comfortable clothes, a cozy blanket, headphones, water, and your computer with a video camera.

Q: Do I have to attend every activity?
A: No, you do not. You can pick what works best for you. If you do register for elections, then you must participate the entire time. If you do not register for elections by 12:00 PM Saturday, April 4th then you cannot participate in elections
