NFTY-OV Fall Kallah

October 16-18, 2015

Fall Kallah is a weekend of learning, growing, laughing, and building meaningful relationships with other Reform Jewish teens. Whether it’s your first event or fiftieth, we hope you’ll spend time with our community at Fall Kallah.

We are excited to be at URJ GUCI at the same time as NFTY Missouri Valley (MV) hosts their SLIID (St. Louis, Illinois, Iowa District) Fall event. This is the perfect opportunity to hang out with your friends from all over the Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley Region and you can create more connections than ever!

This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12 who is a member in good standing with their TYG.

  • Meals are included in the cost of the event.
  • Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration.

Travel is arranged by your local congregation/temple youth group advisor. Please be in touch with them directly to determine your travel or if you have any travel related questions.

Teens are not permitted to drive themselves to and from an event or to a bus stop/synagogue before or after the event. All teens must be dropped off and picked up by a parent, guardian, or an adult. This is NFTY policy to ensure the safety and well-being of our teens.

By Car: If you are being dropped off/picked up by an adult, please plan to be dropped at 5:00 on Friday, October 16, and picked up at 11:00am on Sunday, October 18. It is imperative is dropped off and picked up on time. The address for URJ GUCI is 9349 Moore Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077

All participants are expected to participate in the entire event. Please contact with any questions or for more information. We do not prorate registration fees for any registrants. Due to commitments for food, beverage, supplies and other event costs, our fees are set at a full package rate.

A more detailed packing list will be in your final confirmation email the week prior to the event. In the meantime, please use the following.

Check local weather for 46077 to determine proper attire.
Warmer clothes (jackets, hoodies, sweats)
Casual, comfortable clothes for the weekend
Friday Night Shabbat attire (dressy casual)
Sleeping bag (or sheets and a blanket) and pillow
Towel and Toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush/paste, hairbrush, etc.)
Medication (you are responsible for your own medication)
Money for Shuk (OV store) so you can buy some swag
Water bottle

Please do not bring anything valuable as NFTY is not responsible for any personal belongings.

Further information will be sent 1 week before the event that will include important information regarding the event as well as a complete packing list.



If you need to cancel, the registration fees you paid will be refunded as follows:

Through September 24, 2015 – 90% of the registration fees paid
Through October 1, 2015 – 75% of the registration fees paid
Through October 8, 2015 – 50% of the registration fees paid
After October 8, 2015 we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after October 8, 2015 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid.

Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
